Why No Motorcycles?



During the January 2026 Developer Direct, a sleek white sportbike was spotted in a player garage. Fans got excited, but Playground Games’ creative director confirmed it’s purely decorative. The team is focused on refining tire physics, bringing back classic brands like Toyota, and expanding the car roster, rather than adding motorcycle mechanics.



Vehicle Count and Roster Details



The official launch roster has over 550 cars, spanning street, off-road, and track-focused builds. Unofficial trackers have already spotted roughly 577 vehicles, including new models to the franchise and a dedicated “R Class” for race-ready cars.



Where Bikes Appear (Sort Of)



While you can’t ride them, motorcycles aren’t completely absent:



Static Props: Bikes show up in garages or scattered across the map as decoration.

Engine Swaps: Certain small vehicles, like Kei cars, can be fitted with high-performance motorcycle engines such as the Hayabusa I4, creating unique high-rev builds.

Physics Limits: The current engine doesn’t handle leaning, separate front/rear braking, or other core motorcycle dynamics. That’s why realistic bike gameplay isn’t possible right now.



Even though bikes aren’t in the base game, the community speculates about a Motorcycle Expansion or DLC that could focus on Japanese mountain passes, letting players drift through Touge roads like in specialized racing titles.
