## Cataract Diagnosis

### Medical History and Vision Assessment

### Refraction Test

A refraction test checks whether an updated glasses prescription can improve your vision. Frequent changes in spectacle power or poor improvement with glasses may indicate a progressing cataract.

### Slit-Lamp Examination

Using a specialised microscope called a slit lamp, your ophthalmologist examines the front structures of the eye, including the cornea, iris, and natural lens. This helps identify the type, location, and density of the cataract.

### Dilated Fundus Examination

### Intraocular Pressure (IOP) Measurement
